The Diwald organic winery, founded by Hans and Paula Diwald in the 1960s, is a pioneer in organic wine production. Despite initial skepticism in the industry, the winery has continued on its path and is now one of the pioneers of the organic wine movement. With 20 hectares of vines and exports to 18 countries on three continents, the winery has made an impressive impact.

Martin Diwald has been part of the company since 2006, contributing his training at the viticulture school in Klosterneuburg and his experience from numerous internships. His love of experimentation has led to innovative processes such as spontaneous fermentation, which has been so successful that all wines are fermented in this way. The philosophy of the winery is simple: quality comes from the vineyard, it can only be preserved in the cellar.

The wines should be fun, constantly offer something new and encourage tasting. The wine style follows a simple credo: the wines can be slender, elegant and cheeky, yet still offer fullness and body. They are independent and resonate with the taste buds of connoisseurs.
