Tulbing is a beautiful market town in the district of Tulln on the south-eastern edge of the Tullnerfeld. It unites the cadastral communities of Chorherrn, Katzelsdorf, Tulbing and Wilfersdorf. Visitors can expect excellent gastronomy - from the rustic village inn to the 4-star hotel restaurant and the cozy wine tavern. Hiking & cycling with a view in Tulbing
The Leopold Figl lookout tower rises into the air on the 495-metre-high Tulbingerkogel - the highest elevation in the district. It offers a magnificent panoramic view and constantly attracts hikers and strollers to the summit.

A popular circular tour for bikers is the 20-kilometre Hängender Stein cycle route: it leads from Königstetten via the Tulbinger Kogel and Tulbing. The Tulbinger Kogel route also takes you over hill and dale, starting and finishing in Mauerbach.

Excursion tips for Tulbing
Tulbing Castle, which dates back to 1109, is now home to an equestrian center and a café-restaurant. The parish church of St. Mauritius is well worth a visit: it was originally built in the late 15th century as a fortified church and was baroqueized around 1700. Traditional events also characterize the year in Tulbing: whether it's the elementary school hiking day with farmers' market in October or the Christmas farmers' market with wine baptism at the beginning of December.
