The Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) long-distance hiking trail combines nature, culinary delights and culture and offers numerous excursion destinations: A hike that does justice to the multifaceted nature of the region.
The versatile Krems Valley ("Kamptal" in German) long-distance hiking trail runs for a total of 98.4 kilometers between Wachau and Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German). Along the picturesque route, idyllic nature is combined with the finest cuisine and regional culture, crowned by numerous excursion destinations. From the magnificent Göttweig Abbey and the Senftenberg ruins to wine adventure worlds and educational forest trails - the hike has all kinds of interesting highlights to offer.
Divided into 15 easy to moderately difficult stages, each four to 18 kilometers in length, the hike is also ideal for families and sports enthusiasts who are new to hiking. The hilly landscape can be hiked by young and old alike and offers plenty of exciting stops along the way. However, you should allow a little more time for each stage - so that you can take your time to explore the impressive sights along the way.
