The country inn "Zur schönen Wienerin", run by the Engel family, has eight stylishly furnished rooms that offer a quiet and personal atmosphere. All accommodation has satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, a private bathroom and often a seating area with a view of the Danube. Rooms for three to four people or with extra beds are available on request. Located directly on the Danube cycle path, the hotel is particularly popular with cyclists and hikers.
The cuisine is down-to-earth and rooted in the region. The menu includes fresh Danube fish (char, carp), homemade cabbage roulades, rice meat and Viennese baked meat - always with ingredients from the surrounding area, some from the restaurant's own farmers or regional suppliers.
For cyclists, the establishment offers an all-round carefree package: lockable bike garage, washing area, bike tools, pump, repair kit and assembly stand. E-bike rental, stretching exercises for athletes and a drying service for wet clothing are available on request - active support is provided personally by host Gerhard Engel, a passionate cyclist.
The terrace and the lovingly designed guest garden invite you to relax with a breathtaking view of the Danube. Here you can enjoy traditional dishes as well as regional wines and beers from small breweries while taking in the scenery.
