The idyllic 5-hectare "In der Spitz" winery owned by Martin and Alexandra Donabaum is surrounded by vineyards in the historic center of Spitz. The quality and Prädikat wines, which are mainly produced in steep vineyards on the typical Wachau stone terraces, can be tasted in the new, modern Panorama Lounge or at the traditional wine tavern "Zum Strawanzer" - preferably on the shady panoramic terrace with a hearty snack: Organic cheese from sheep and goats, lardo bacon from Mangalitza pigs, raw ham from deer, lamb and other regional specialties.

If you feel like discovering the Wachau on your own, the Donabaum winery has well-equipped comfortable rooms and the two spacious gourmet suites "Venus" and "Smaragd". New opening The WeinSpitz - boutique hotel in the vineyards The WeinSpitz stands for a harmonious combination of pleasure and ambience and offers an experience for all the senses at the highest level. Here you reside in 11 spacious and design-oriented terrace suites with a unique view over the terraced vineyards of the Wachau.
