To the north of Melk in the southern Waldviertel lies the 800-year-old Leiben Castle, which not only impresses with its unique coffered ceilings from the 17th century, but also with its impressive restoration progress in recent years. The Austrian Agricultural Museum in the Europaschloss presents tractors of the first generation, movable test models of a steam plow, a locomobile and a threshing machine. Also worth seeing: the enormous collection of scales from all over the world.
There is an e-charging station directly in front of the castle in the parking lot, which is freely accessible at all times.
The Europaschloss Leiben is one of the treasures of the Nibelungengau. All other treasures full of enjoyment, variety and the best views can be discovered at www.nibelungengau.at!
