In the late medieval Welser Tower, the permanent exhibition "Arelape - the Roman Pöchlarn", designed in cooperation with the Federal Monuments Office, can be seen on two levels with old and the latest excavation finds (town center project).
On the third floor, the Golling artist, Prof. Sepp Mayrhuber, shows his works. He has left his mark in Pöchlarn and the surrounding area and has become known beyond the borders, particularly through the revival of the antique stuccolustro technique. Members of the town museum have already made contact with the Mayrhuber Documentation Center in Golling, as well as with his widow in Laakirchen and various private owners of Mayrhuber works. So we can rightly look forward to a very special exhibition.
