The new Mole Melk restaurant at the Melker Hafenspitz is an exciting project that has been created on the site of the former ferry house directly on the cycle path along the Danube. Planned by Melk architects Wolfgang Huber and Klaus Buchberger, Mole Melk has become a new city quarter and day trip destination that brings hour-long short breaks within reach for guests.

The project involves the conversion of the existing buildings into a single unit with a shared roof and the establishment of a modern restaurant. The front part of the ferry house will be replaced by a two-storey glass building overlooking the Danube and including a beautiful Danube terrace with breathtaking views.

The Melk pier is a Top Excursion Destinations for people from the region and beyond. Among other things, a modern range of restaurants and an attractive shipping center contribute to this.

The Mole Melk is open daily from 11.00 am.
