We are a small business run solely by family members. The Winzerhaus has been in the family for several generations since 1890. That is why we attach great importance to individuality. The quality of our wines begins long before the grape harvest. The vines in the vineyards are worked very carefully and close to nature. We adhere to the guidelines of Controlled Integrated Production (KIP). The processing of the grapes, the Cider and finally the wine is carried out with the utmost purity and care so as not to compromise the quality. We try not to adulterate the conditions of nature, but to preserve them in the best possible way from the vineyard to the bottle.
Our wines are characterized by their fruity taste and appealing aroma. The character of the individual varieties and sites is determined by differences in the microclimate and soil. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, which means that the quality can be improved and influenced by selection. The grapes are carefully processed in our own winery using modern technology. Our wines are fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks, which is the only way we can produce wines that are fruity and typical of their variety. We store and mature special red wines in small barrique barrels.
