Winegrowing has a tradition in the small wine village of Kuffern that can be traced back thousands of years and the Siedler family's "wine history" also stretches back generations. The rustic "Felsenstüberl" from 1750, which is just as much a part of the wine tavern as the "Kaminstüberl" and the cozy taproom with the old tree press from 1802, gives an impression of this history. The style of the wines served here, which come from both Traisental and Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) vineyards, is completely adapted to the present day. They are served with a homemade, down-to-earth Heurigen snack with everything from spread bread to game specialties.
