The Schifffahrtszentrum in Krems/Stein and World Heritage Center Wachau is an entrance portal to the Krems landing stage with a visitor center and tourist information point. Outside, the artistically designed information panels provide interesting details about the 13 municipalities of the Wachau and the World Heritage landscape. In the building of the shipping center there are ticket counters of the company Brandner Schifffahrt and the company DDSG Blue Danube Schifffahrt, including many tourist information materials. A catering area "Wellenspiel" and a store with regional products and wines from the Wachau and Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) also make it possible to take regional delicacies home with you.
