Heuriger Mayer-Hörmann

The Mayer-Hörmann wine tavern in Feuersbrunn (Wine Road 2) is run by Ingrid, Hans and Felix Mayer and combines traditional viticulture with a cozy wine tavern atmosphere. Surrounded by fruit trees, around 80 seats in the secluded garden invite you to linger, with around 30 indoor seats available in bad weather. Awarded several times as a "top wine tavern" on the Wagram, it impresses with homemade specialties such as wild boar ham, smoked meats, wild liver pâté, spreads and pastries. The offer is complemented by a wine carousel with Veltliners, reds and early reds as well as other varieties.

It is traditionally open during the unveiling period: in spring (end of April/beginning of May), May to June and August, every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from 3 p.m. - also during the wine fall week at the end of October/beginning of November daily from 3 p.m.. The wine tavern is therefore ideal for connoisseurs, families and guests on the Wagram or on the Weinviertel Way of St. James.
