The entire route runs alongside rivers and mostly through forests - an experience especially, but not only, in summer.
Spectacular rock formations line the route, which also passes the imposing ruins in Senftenberg and Rehberg.
No particular hazardous spots, but the route is entirely on the road; traffic isn't particularly heavy, but the road is very winding and there are hardly any speed limits
Sports bike or e-bike
Krems – Senftenberg – Gföhl – Reittern – Seeb – Untermeisling – Meislingeramt – Senftenberg – Krems
We start in Krems and follow the Kremstal Bike Trail to Meislingeramt. Then we continue along the Waldviertel Bike Trail to Gföhl, through Gföhl, and on to Untermeisling (Wurfentalgraben turnoff). From there, the route takes us back onto the Kremstal Bike Trail via Senftenberg to Krems.

The route is paved throughout and is ideal for a sporty ride on a road bike or e-bike.
