Description

The hike from Lengenfeld to Stratzing is full of variety. Even at the starting point in the center of Lengenfeld, cultural and historical facets become apparent: The Biri gate from the 15th century, Lengenfeld Castle from the 16th century and the magnificent parish church with Gothic elements. The route then continues past the natural wine cellar lanes of Sand, Kremsfeld, Satzen and Loiserweg to Stratzing's cellar lane. The route ends in the center of Stratzing, where wine taverns invite you to end the hike on a leisurely note. However, the tour does not have to end here! For all hiking enthusiasts, there are also local routes that can be added to the stage. An extension of the tour is particularly worthwhile for the Ice Age Trail - interesting facts about past times and cultures included!
