Route description
Krems – Danube cycle path to the Traismauer Danube Bridge – Krems
The loop starts in Krems and follows the Danube cycle path eastward, crosses the bridge, and continues toward Tulln. It then crosses the St. Georgs Bridge back to the other bank of the Danube and continues through the floodplain back to Krems.
Parking
There is a paid parking garage at the Krems train station; access is via Austraße (turn left onto "Am Frachtenbahnhof").
Getting there
Krems can be reached from Melk via the B3 (Federal Highway 3); from Vienna, Krems can be reached via the S5 (Stockerau Expressway).
