This varied circular hike leads from the end of the village in Unterbergern via long-distance hiking trail 06 through a high moor to the Ferdinandwarte with a wonderful panoramic view of Dürnstein, Mautern, Stein and Krems. A steep descent to Mauternbach and the historic Roman road with visible ruts finally takes you back to Unterbergern.
