Our winery is located 7 km south of the city center of Krems, in front of the Göttweiger Berg. We are a family business with a long tradition. Mr. Heribert Rethaller is responsible for the management and cultivation of the approximately 7 hectares of vineyards on the farm. He always strives to achieve the best possible quality by means of elaborate, manual work. The wine-growing region at the gateway to the Wachau is characterized by favourable climatic conditions. We mainly grow the "Grüne Veltliner" variety - Austria's wine specialty. Its characteristic properties are shaped by the soil and climate in our region. These local conditions also favor our other varieties.
