Our farm in Oberndorf am Jauerling is located directly below the summit plateau in an idyllic village surrounded by forest and meadows.
With its 960 metres of altitude, the Jauerling is the highest elevation directly on the Danube. The local mountain of the Wachau offers numerous leisure activities in every season. Whether hiking, cycling tours, wine tavern visits, exploring the ruins in Spitz, climbing in Dürnstein, a boat trip on the Danube or skiing on the nearby ski lift, there is variety. Or you can spend your day at our farm, enjoying the peace and view.
We offer private rooms with a double bed and a bunk bed for the younger visitors. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and a small kitchenette. For cooling of brought food there is either a small fridge in the room or a common in the lounge area for guests. Bread service and a breakfast package for the room can be provided after consultation with us.
At the farm you could help us with the care of our small animals such as rabbits, chickens and ducks and pick up your breakfast egg from the chicken pen. For the kids there is a playground like our "submarine" and swings.
