Bus Service in the Wachau

The Wachau-Linien bus system is a premium form of public transport, offering regular service on the north and south banks of the Danube and a host of convenient extras for hikers and cyclists.

An attractive one-day pass is available for the region (Tageskarte Wachau) and is valid on the Wachau-Linien buses in the Wachau and on three Danube ferries (Dürnstein, Weissenkirchen and Spitz).

You can purchase tickets directly on the buses and ferries and at the following guest information points in the Wachau during opening hours:
