Weinbau Weidenauer

The Gästehaus Weidenauer is not only a comfortable accommodation, but also a business with its own vineyard in the Wachau. The wine-growing tradition is cultivated here with great passion and care. The vineyards around Rossatzbach are characterized by the typical loess and gravel soils, which give the grapes their special minerality.

The Weidenauer winery focuses on sustainable and natural cultivation methods that bring out the best in the terroir. Both classic Wachau white wine varieties such as Grüne Veltliner and Riesling as well as special cuvées are produced here. The wines impress with their fresh elegance, fine fruit aromas and balanced structure.

Guests of the hotel have the opportunity to find out about the winemaking process on site and take part in tastings. The close connection between accommodation and viticulture makes the stay an authentic experience where wine can not only be enjoyed but also understood.
