With a unique focus on climate-friendly, sustainable viticulture, Christian and Petra Mößlinger present climate-positive wine at their "Fanny.Wine Vino-thek" in Stratzing, which opened in 2021. Their Grüne Veltliner and Blauer Zweigelt are considered Austrian pioneers of this sustainable approach. The family is thus continuing the centuries-old winemaking history of their village in the district of Krems-Land in the most modern way.
On offer are not only sustainable wines, frizzante and fine brandies, but also other regional specialties such as honey and handicrafts. The program also includes guided wine tastings and wonderfully authentic vineyard hikes - including an open-air snack.
Incidentally, the name of the vinotheque refers to the so-called "Fanny" - a famous archaeological excavation that was found at the end of the 1980s as the Venus of Galgenberg during construction work.
