World Heritage Trail Wachau: From Melk to Aggsbach Dorf

From the main square in Melk, our path leads over Melk Abbey up to Pielachberg and further to the Jonas Cross. Here, besides a beautiful rest area, a grand view of the Danube, the Jauerling, and the surroundings awaits us. On an old farm road, we continue to Schönbühel with its remarkable castle. Through Berging, our path leads through the forest up to the Hohenwarther Höhe, where we can enjoy a great panoramic view over the Dunkelsteinerwald. Over Hohenwarthberg, it finally goes down to Aggsbach Dorf to the Danube, where our stage ends.
