The approximately 7-kilometer circular route begins and ends at the Aufreiter wine farm in Krems-Angern or at Lillis Apricot Garden in Paudorf. Several stations invite you to learn more about the animals in the apricot garden, the tree blossom, and the work in the apricot garden.
On the many intermediate areas, the rows, hedges, and edges of paths, and also in the middle of the gardens, you will find plenty of wildflowers and wild herbs. Equally abundant is the reward for those who want to observe wildlife. From insects, spiders, and birds to small mammals like the very special ground squirrel, rare reptiles like the fire salamander or emerald lizard, to pheasant, hare, and deer... anyone with a bit of time and patience will encounter all these here!
The circular route ends again at the Aufreiter wine farm or at Lillis Apricot Garden. In both establishments you will find many delicious apricot souvenirs and apricot products in the farm shops.
