Winzerhof Schachinger

We - Karin and Franz Schachinger - run the Winzerhof Schachinger with a great deal of love and joie de vivre. The winery with its 12.5 hectares of vineyards has a long family history and combines the traditional with the modern. "Wines with personality" - that is our motto. We express our very personal touch in our wines. The traditional varieties Grüne Veltliner, Riesling and Roter Veltliner, as well as Zweigelt, St. Laurent and Blaufränkisch, thrive in Gedersdorf's best vineyards. For lovers of sparkling wines, we also offer sparkling wine and frizzante.

Since 2010 we have had a new modern, very cozy tasting room. In combination with an old vaulted wine cellar for the vinotheque wines, it offers the ideal setting for wine presentations and small private parties. Together with our two children, we love to organize tastings.

We also offer tractor rides through the vineyards - past the mighty loess terraces of Gedersdorf, where our vines thrive - which are much appreciated by our customers. A wine tasting or grape juice tasting for the children afterwards is of course a must!
