The Further have it good: firstly, the picturesque village at the foot of Göttweig Abbey has a number of wine farms that produce excellent quality wines. Secondly, among many other wine taverns, there is also the Hackner family's wine tavern, which has truly earned the "Top" in front of it.

Vines are cultivated on around 6 hectares of vineyards in prime locations. Great importance is attached to sustainable cultivation: Hackner is a member of "Nachhaltig Austria" and holds the corresponding certification. Wines from the range - such as Riesling, Grüne Veltliner and Gelber Muskateller - stand for varietal diversity, quality and the typical terroir characteristics of the region.

The Hackner wine tavern offers a cozy atmosphere: You can enjoy your meal indoors, in the conservatory or in the courtyard, depending on the weather. The menu includes homemade specialties such as smoked meat, cured ham, trout, bacon and goat or buffalo cheese.
There is room for many guests: the restaurant has seating for around 100 inside, plus a conservatory and outdoor areas.
