Weinbau Reithofer

The Reithofer winery is located on the right bank of the Danube in the Wachau, right in the historic center of Rossatz. The former market judge's house was first mentioned in a document in 1436.

The Reithofer wine tavern is open to guests several times a year, where you can taste our quality wines in a cozy atmosphere with traditional cold wine tavern specialties. The rustically furnished restaurant, with a panoramic view of the garden, offers space for 50 people. You will find a cozy spot around our open fireplace even in rainy weather. When the sun is shining, however, people like to sit in the garden under the vine arbor or under our large house tree. From the garden you have a beautiful panoramic view of the Dürnstein ruins, the blue church tower of Dürnstein Abbey and the striking rock face, the "Biratalwand - Wächterwand", which constantly changes color depending on the sunlight.
