A country inn straight out of a picture book: Located in Klein-Wien, at the foot of Göttweig Abbey, this charming family business combines refined culinary tradition with ambitious dishes from Austrian cuisine.

The host family and kitchen crew focus on fresh, regional ingredients, high-quality Austrian meat and down-to-earth preparation with attention to detail.

The menu includes Austrian classics such as game dishes, delicious apricot dumplings, char from our own waters, tournedos in cognac sauce, lamb hoof steak or creative salad variations - complemented by international elements such as pasta variations or Asian-inspired salads.

The restaurant has a heated winter garden, various cozy parlors and a spacious, shady garden under chestnut trees - ideal for summer days of enjoyment.

The restaurant is particularly child-friendly and also welcomes families - both in terms of food and ambience.

The wine list offers a wide range of regional white wines and domestic and international red wines - served by the glass and fairly priced. The offer is complemented by home-distilled schnapps, digestifs, beers, coffee specialties and non-alcoholic drinks.
