The mighty ruin of Senftenberg, which towers over the market of the same name on a high rock, dominates the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) with its appearance.
After a short climb, past the Gothic fortified church or via the car access road from the town center, you can enjoy the unique view vertically down to the oldest houses of the town and the wine terraces as far as the Danube valley. The ruins are freely accessible all year round.
Inside, cozy vaults invite you to take a break and celebrate, and the covered outdoor seating also makes for a pleasant time with food and drink during the day and in the evening.
