Café, Konditorei, Bäckerei Teufner

The Café-Konditorei-Bäckerei Teufner in Melk is a traditional, lovingly run family business - founded in 1971 and under the management of Thomas Teufner since 2006 - which combines modern coffee house culture with masterly baking craftsmanship. All production takes place under one roof in Abt-Karl-Straße, and all baked goods are also available in the adjoining bakery store or can be ordered in advance.

In the café in Wiener Straße, the Teufner team spoils you with delicious homemade pastries, the finest cakes, strudels, a hearty variety and the best Illy coffee. Seasonal delicacies, ice cream from our own ice cream production and artistic cakes - for weddings or special occasions, for example - charmingly complement the range.

The focus is on tradition and quality: artisan baking, high-quality ingredients and a large selection of fresh and healthy baked goods characterize the experience. The business has also been certified organic (AT-BIO-402) since May 11, 2021.

Café Teufner's culinary delights include an extensive breakfast menu, which gets the day off to a great start early in the morning (from 5:30 a.m. on weekdays). This includes classic, vegetarian and sweet breakfast options, which can also be ordered flexibly throughout the day.
