Mirador Krems – Relaxation with a View of the Wachau
With the Mirador, a new destination has emerged in Krems that uniquely combines exercise, relaxation, and nature. Located directly on the Danube, this modern sports, leisure, and recreation pool offers impressive views of the Wachau wine region and Göttweig Abbey. The name Mirador—Spanish for “viewpoint”—reflects its exceptional location and unique atmosphere.
Whether it’s swimming laps, relaxing in the warm water, or carefree fun in the pool with the whole family—the Mirador offers a wide range of opportunities for relaxation and activity all year round. With 10 pools, 5 saunas and steam rooms, 3 restaurants, a 50-meter lap pool, a wide wave slide, and a diving area with 1-, 3-, and 5-meter platforms, guests are sure to find plenty of variety. In addition to a modern sports and recreation area, spacious outdoor facilities, a diverse children’s play area, and an expansive sauna complex with panoramic views ensure special moments of well-being.
The clean architecture, light-filled spaces, and harmonious integration into the Danube landscape create an atmosphere that invites you to linger. After a day in the vineyards, a bike ride along the Danube, or a stroll through Krems’s historic district, the Mirador offers the ideal place to recharge.
