ASPARAGUS & CO.

The Marchfeld region is Austria’s vegetable garden. On around 7.000 hectares more than 700 producers harvest their vegetables, fruit and field crops. The Marchfeld region is particularly well known for its top class asparagus, but also for processing frozen vegetables. Show your knowledge about vegetables on the quiz board along the cycle path. Have you acquired a taste for it yet? Another info board provides an overview of all farm shops and farmers markets in the region and invites you to pay them a visit. From A for artichoke to Z for zucchini you can buy all your regional and seasonal delicacies from the farmers throughout the year!
