Pfarrkirche

The parish church, dedicated to the Assumption of Mary (patron saint on August 15), is a former late Romanesque, flat-roofed, three-nave pillar basilica with a raised central nave and Gothic ribbed vault. The central nave walls open to the side aisles with wide pointed arches. The church - located in the cemetery - is a typical example of a parish church complex in this part of the Danube valley. The two Romanesque church portals are also worthy of note. The sacristy with Gothic rectangular windows is attached to the north of the choir.
The rectory next to the church is accessed via a baroque arched gable. The building itself is a mighty Baroque structure, for which the foundation stone was laid in 1726 in the presence of the famous Baroque master builder Jakob Prandtauer.
