The museum presents the history of the municipality with a special focus on Persenbeug Castle, the birthplace of the last Austrian emperor, Charles I. In addition to insights into historical events, you will find original stone finds from the Danube, remains of the former rolling ferry and numerous documents about the life of the legendary shipmaster Matthias Feldmüller, known as the "Admiral of the Danube".
