Winzerhof Rauscher

Our winery is located south of Krems at the foot of the Göttweig Benedictine Abbey. We are a member of "Vinum Circa Montem" - a brand association that has existed since 1985 and has set itself the goal of raising the profile of wine from the Göttweiger Berg.

The manageable size of our winery enables us to take optimum care of every detail in our vineyards and cellar. We attach great importance to natural production, special care in the vineyard and harvesting by hand, quality-optimized yields and gentle processing in the cellar.

The southern Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) has optimal climatic conditions for viticulture. Our main varieties - Grüne Veltliner and Riesling - reflect the uniqueness of this region as the leading varieties of the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German). Pinot Blanc and Zweigelt also thrive excellently here.
