A place with a long winegrowing tradition!

Following the renaming of the municipality of Etsdorf-Haitzendorf, the region has been known as the "market town of Grafenegg" since 2003.

The 29 km² municipal area comprises eight cadastral municipalities: Diendorf am Kamp, Engabrunn, Etsdorf am Kamp, Grunddorf, Haitzendorf, Kamp, Sittendorf and Walkersdorf.

The region has long been known for its cultivated winegrowing culture. This is also reflected in the wine-growing tradition of the municipality: one of its special features is the village's wine cellar lane. Not only is one of the cellars always open, it is also one of the most beautiful in the country.

Visitors and day-trippers like to take advantage of the numerous footpaths in the village, which lead past the idyllic wine taverns.

The entire municipality is known for the mild and sunny climate of the southern Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) and the many years of experience of the local winegrowers guarantee top wine quality.

In addition to wine culture, the municipality of Grafenegg also offers cultural delights. Grafenegg Castle, Walkersdorf Castle and the village centers impress every visitor with their picturesque, well-kept charm.
