The Gattinger winery has high quality standards! The wholesomeness of the wines is the basis of success! Andreas and Martina Gattinger cultivate 4.5 hectares of vineyards in top Wachau locations. These include Steinriegel, Achleiten, Vorderseiber, Hinter der Burg, Hinterkirchen and the heart of the business, the Weitenberg! The family winery is also nestled on the Weitenberg with a view of the Danube. In addition to the Wachau's flagship varieties Grüne Veltliner and Riesling, Chardonnay, Muskateller and Pinot Blanc can also be tasted and purchased directly at the winery by prior arrangement. Rose wines and the red wines from Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and the Cuvee called Telos are very tasty rarities that are waiting to be discovered.
