The Danube is a big support for the local electricity supply. Directly next to the popular Danube-Biketrail the Power-Station invites guests to experience a backstage tour through the new exhibition about water power generation.

During the guided tour you get to know a lot about the oldest Power-Station of Austria its exciting construction history from the 1950 and even how it could supply almost the entire power for Austria at this time.

Models, short films and interactive stations will help you to get insights about the important functions of the different parts. You also get facts about sustained production by water power along the danube.
