The Koch winery is located in the heart of the Wagram, a part of the Weinviertel in Lower Austria, which is known for its typical hilly landscape and mineral-rich loess soils. The sunny sites are ideal for the production of light, fruity white wines and mild, velvety red wines. The Pannonian climate with its warm sunny days and cool nights contributes significantly to the quality of the wines, which are characterized by accentuated fruitiness, elegance and smoothness.

Grüner Veltliner in particular, the region's main variety, brings these characteristics to perfection. The Koch winery produces around 20 different wines in a wide range of varieties and styles in keeping with family tradition. The range includes white and red wines, rosé, frizzante and ice wine as well as brandies, liqueurs, grape juices, verjus, jams and chutneys.
