Weingut Josef Siegert

The Josef Siegert winery is a place that combines tradition and innovation. With a history dating back to 1624, this winery has a long tradition of winemaking. Today, the estate extends over 15 hectares of vineyards and offers an ever-growing range of products, enhanced by integrated farming. Despite its size, the winery remains a family business, run by several generations of the Siegert family.

The main production focuses on white wine varieties, but selected red wine varieties are also cultivated. Quality brandies and fruit juices are also available. The winery is particularly proud of its DAC wines from the Wagram wine-growing region. Since 2018, the Siegert winery has been run organically, an innovation that went hand in hand with the takeover of the current manager. He brings with him both innate knowledge and formal training in wine management from the Krems School of Viticulture. Weingut Josef Siegert is a place worth a visit for both wine lovers and those interested in sustainable agriculture.
