The Johannes Maringer winery, located in idyllic Ottenthal, a small wine village with extensive rolling loess hills near Kirchberg am Wagram, is a place that combines enjoyment and quality. Since 2010, the winery has been run by Johannes Maringer, who expertly applies the knowledge he acquired at the Klosterneuburg viticulture school.

The loess soil of Wagram and the climate influenced by the Danube region provide optimal conditions for the vines to thrive. Every process, from the harvest to the bottle, is traditionally hand-picked and personally carried out by Johannes Maringer with great passion. The grapes are selected by hand and carefully processed in order to achieve the highest possible quality.

The Maringer winery is known for its passionate cultivation of personal contact with its customers and for its authenticity. The pleasure and enjoyment customers derive from the palatable, fresh to full-bodied, mature wines are the highest reward for the winery's tireless work. The Maringer winery rounds off its work with a ‘dash’ of art & culture in the Kellergasse in the course of vernissages, happenings and events.
