Our Still-Young Story

It all began as a hobby. From this passion grew a small winery, where we started pressing grapes from local vintners in a modest vaulted cellar. Back then, we sold our wines under the name Özelt-Hof.

What began as a hobby soon turned into a true passion. In the year 2000, we planted our very first vineyard. That same year brought our wedding, the birth of our daughter Sophia – and our first harvest of our own grapes. A truly special year. And a remarkable vintage to match.

The years that followed were marked by transformation: clearing old vineyards, restructuring, installing modern trellising systems, and focusing on three select white grape varieties.

Today, we are exactly where we set out to be. The Ried Fuchsenrand vineyard, with its predominant Grüner Veltliner, as well as Sauvignon Blanc and a touch of Riesling, forms the heart of our work. A newly acquired site with vines over 50 years old adds exceptional character – both in vine health and aromatic potential.

What started as a hobby has become a calling. A path I am proud to have taken.
