In 1999, our family moved to beautiful Dürnstein, which we fell in love with on our Sunday walks. Back then, we would never have dared to dream of being able to live in such a wonderful place. When the house finally became available, we didn't hesitate for a second because we had found our paradise. The house was extended and three lovingly furnished guest rooms with a romantic view of the castle ruins and the Danube were created on the upper floor. A beautiful communal kitchen and lounge are available to guests during their stay.
The Danube cycle path is one of the most beautiful cycle routes in Europe and is about 150 meters from the house. The popular Dürnsteiner Kueringerbad is approx. 1 km from the house. Guests can choose from a wide variety of hikes in the Dürnstein region.
Krems an der Donau is 8 km from the accommodation. The nearest airport is Vienna Airport, 75 km from Gästehaus Rolea.
