The Traisental wine-growing region is full of charming places, it tells exciting and interesting stories and offers its guests unique wine and nature experiences away from any mass tourism. A special feature are the 32 specially trained wine guides, who bring visitors to the Traisental closer to the region's scenic and cultural treasures on accompanying hikes. As each wine guide has worked out their own route and has personal preferences, there is an amazing variety of hikes and themes.

Four focal points

The wine guides are divided into four main tour areas:

• Lots of wine culture and nature can be found around the Ahrenberg and Eichberg wine cellar lanes.
• On tours around Herzogenburg, the abbey and abbey winery are popular destinations.
• The hikes in the traditional wine village of Nussdorf ob der Traisen cover many aspects of wine culture.
• A number of wine guides are on the trail of the Traisental's insider tips.

Of course, each hike ends with a tasting of Traisental wines and grape juices.
