In just a few years, Markus Huber has managed to make his winery and its wines internationally and nationally renowned. The Traisental's leading winery produces wines full of character on unique limestone-conglomerate soils with a clear, bell-like style and terroir-driven minerality. The most important vineyards are Alte Setzen, Zwirch, Rothenbart and Berg, all classified as Erste Lagen (1st ÖTW) by traditional Austrian wineries. The main variety is clearly Grüne Veltliner, which accounts for more than two thirds of the total production, with Riesling being the second most important variety. Uncompromising work in the vineyard and cellar in favor of the highest quality is Markus Huber's top priority. In addition to numerous national and international awards, Markus Huber was named "Falstaff Winemaker of the Year" in 2015.
