Reinhard Winiwarter took over his parents' winery in Stratzing near Krems in 2010 in the fourth generation, with a great sense of responsibility towards the three generations before him. His major concern: establishing the Reinhard Winiwarter Winery among the best quality providers in the Krems Valley ("Kremstal" in German) region: "It's the authentic, clear and simple things that we like. Our wines carry this awareness within them. In a world that is becoming increasingly complex, we stand for emphasizing the fine, regional characteristics as well as for simple and concise product design. Grüne Veltliner is our most important variety and our main focus is on it. Rotburger and Chardonnay round off the portfolio".
