Familienweingut Hummel

The Hummel family winery is picturesquely situated on the border between the districts of Tulln and Hollabrunn, right on the border between the Wagram and Weinviertel wine-growing regions. The winery is located in the idyllic village of Neudegg, which has just under 200 inhabitants. Although the Hummel family's business is only around 150 years old, it is deeply rooted in the history and tradition of viticulture. The beginnings of the winery go back to Franz Waltner, who passed the business on to Josef Mehofer. From generation to generation, the winery has been passed on and expanded every year.

Today, the winery offers an impressive selection of wine varieties, including Grüner Veltliner, Roter Veltliner, Rivaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Zweigelt and Blauburger. The Hummel winery is a living example of the combination of tradition and innovation in viticulture.
