Bio Hof Unger

In the middle of Mannersdorf am Leithagebirge lies Biohof Unger, a family farm that has been practicing organic farming since 2004. The farm combines livestock farming, arable farming and direct marketing and places particular emphasis on species-appropriate animal husbandry.

The laying hens live in mobile sheds and are free to decide when to go outside. Broiler chickens enjoy several weeks of outdoor exercise before they are available from the farm five times a year. Swabian-Hall pigs, which are known for their tasty bacon, have also been kept since 2015.

The farm store on Hintausstraße is open around the clock and offers organic eggs and poultry as well as homemade pasta and regional products. Biohof Unger stands for sustainable agriculture and authentic organic products from the region.
