  • Schloss Atzenbrugg

The market town of Atzenbrugg in the district of Tulln is located in the idyllic Perschling valley and comprises nine villages, including Heiligeneich, Moosbierbaum and Trasdorf. Atzenbrugg Castle, where Franz Schubert was a guest several times in the 1820s, is historically significant.
Today, the castle and the new exhibition there invite visitors to follow in Schubert's footsteps and rediscover or rediscover the life and work of the great composer. More information about Schubert Castle Atzenbrugg

The baroque parish church in Heiligeneich, the Anna Chapel in Trasdorf and numerous chapels and wayside shrines bear witness to the long history of the village.

In addition to cultural highlights such as the annual Schubertiade, the region offers a wide range of leisure activities: Cycling and hiking trails, a nature trail, tennis courts, a golf club (Diamond Country Club) and the swimming pond in Trasdorf invite you to actively relax.

Events ranging from the traditional Advent market to the wine baptism make Atzenbrugg an attractive destination for families, culture enthusiasts and nature lovers all year round.
