Weingut Dorli Muhr

0.17 hectares of vineyards on the single vineyard Ried Roterd on the Spitzerberg, which Dorli Muhr's grandmother already owned in the 1920s, is the heart of the winery. Dorli Muhr revitalized this plot in 1996 and has since then - through the acquisition of vineyards with old vines, the planting of fallow land and the leasing of plots in the best locations on the Spitzerberg - allowed the vineyard to grow bit by bit.

Today, the winery cultivates 12 hectares, all of which are located on the southern slope of the Spitzerberg.

The main focus is on Blaufränkisch, to which 80% of the vineyards are dedicated, because this variety is particularly suited to reflecting the barren limestone soils and extreme wind exposure of the Spitzerberg in the finest taste: the wines are always carried by beguiling aromas and silky finesse and are characterized by freshness and light-footedness.
