Lukas Windholz, the innovative melon farmer, stands for regionality & organic quality, guaranteed freshness, short transport routes, low environmental impact and agriculture of the future. Around 3,000 melon plants, mostly mini watermelons, as well as sugar and honeydew melons, thrive on around 0.75 hectares. These are available from the farm.

Thomas the winegrower is Lukas' older brother! He has been working in the wine-growing region since he was a child and discovered his love for grapes. He has been the family winemaker since 2012! In 2019, he took over a traditional winery in Bruck an der Leitha and has been bringing a breath of fresh air to the Carnuntum wine-growing region ever since.

Gastro content:

In my uncle's winery (Weingut Franz & Christine Netzl, Göttlesbrunn), I got my first taste of vineyard and cellar air as a child during the harvest. From that point on, it was clear to me what I wanted to be: A winemaker! And I pursued this dream: In 2011, I graduated from the Krems School of Viticulture as a skilled worker. During this training, I completed two internships at top Austrian wineries: the Kollwentz Römerhof winery and the R&A Pfaffl winery. This was followed by internships at the wineries St. Michael - Eppan | South Tyrol and Oyster Bay | New Zealand.

I was soon given the opportunity to lease vineyards, which I naturally took up.
After my first harvest in 2013, I vinified my first wines. It was important to me to produce two typical Austrian wines: Veltliner and Zweigelt.
